    Abstract

    ABSTRACT Nur Aini Maqrifah. Sunan Bayat Sites Learning as a Source of History Learning Class X In Klaten Senior High School. Thesis, Surakarta: Faculty of teacher Training and Education, University of Sebelas Maret Surakarta, in June 2016. The purpose of this study was to know: (1) Sunan Bayat sites can be used as a source of history learning, (2) Relevance of Sunan Bayat sites with the teaching of history class X in senior high school, (3) Utilization of Sunan Bayat sites as a source of teaching history for students class X in senior high school. This study used a qualitative descriptive method that examines the events at the present to generating descriptive data in the form of words written or spoken of certain persons or behaviors that can be observed by using certain measures. In this study used a single-rooted strategy case studiesthat target to be studied has been limited and determined, and focused on a single location has its own characteristics. Source of data used is the source of objects, places, events, informants, and documents. Data collected by observation, interviews and document analysis. The sampling technique used was purposive and snowball sampling. This study, to search for the validity of the data used two techniques namely data triangulation and triangulation methods. The data analysis technique used is interactive analysis, the analysis process that moves between the three components which include data reduction, data presentation, and verification / conclusion. Based on the results of this study conclude: (1) Sunan Bayat sites can be a source of teaching history in senior high school. History Sunan Bayat in spreading the religion of Islam in Bayat and buildings contained in the tomb of Sunan Bayat can be used as a source of learning, (2) Relevance of Sunan Bayat sites as a source of teaching history of KTSP contained in the Basic Competence Analyze developments Traditional country (Hinduism, Buddhism and Islam ) in Indonesia. In Curriculum 2013 contained in the Basic Competence Presenting the results of the analysis in the form of writings about the values and elements of culture that flourished during the Islamic empire and is still ongoing in the life of the Indonesian nation at the present time, (3) Sunan Bayat sites become cultural heritage, can be used as source of teaching history in senior high school, utilization of SunanBayat sites can increase the knowledge of learners in local history resources.
