Major of Family Medicine Primary Interest Biomedical Science Post Graduate Programe, Sebelas Maret University Surakarta. Diabetic neuropathy is the most common type 2 diabetes mellitus complication. Oxidative stress and inflammation play a role in the development of diabetic neuropathy. The aim of study is to investigated relationship between GGT dan hsCRP concentration in diabetic neuropathy. This is a cross sectional study was done between August-October 2016. We assessed 52 patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus who were evaluated for the presence of diabetic neuropathy using Michigan Neuropathy Screening Instrument. Parameters evaluated were gamma glutamyl transferase (GGT) and hs-C-reactive protein (hsCRP). The prevalence of diabetic neuropathy patients was 57,69% (30 cases). The GGT and hsCRP concentrations were significantly elevated in diabetic neuropathy patients compared to patients without diabetic neuropathy (p<0,05, r square=0,165). The GGT concentrartions was significantly elevated in diabetic neuropathy patients compared to patients without diabetic neuropathy (p<0,05). HsCRP concentrations between type 2 diabetes mellitus patients with diabetic neuropathy compared to paand wasn’t significantly Penelitian ini tidak menunjukkan hubungan yang bermakna antara hsCRP (p>0,005) dengan neuropati diabetikum.
