    Abstract

    The SIS epidemic model describes the pattern of disease spread with characteristics recovered individuals can be infected, because does not develop immunity to the disease. The model which the number of individuals in S and I group following discrete time Markov process can be represented by discrete time Markov chains (DTMC) SIS. The DTMC SIS epidemic model can be applied for one or more pathogen. Furthermore, the DTMC SIS epidemic model can be developed in one or more patch because people move from one patch to another patch. Thus, the DTMC SIS epidemic model can be developed for two pathogens two patches. The aims of this research are to reconstruct and to apply DTMC SIS epidemic model two pathogen two patches. The DTMC SIS epidemic model two pathogen two patches were presented as a transition probabilities in the infection process and dispersal process. Transition probabilities of the susceptible and infected individual in each patch were presented in the infection process, while transition probabilities of the susceptible and infected individual from one patch to another patch were presented in dispersal process. The DTMC SIS two pathogens two patches were applied. It was obtained that the number of susceptible individuals decreased while the number of infected individuals increased.
