    Abstract

    Lingzhi mushroom is a fungus that can used as a drug because it contains compounds such as beta-glucan. The aims of the experiment was to determine of NAA effect to the lingzhi mushroom beta-glucan content. The experiment was conducted at the Laboratory of Mycology institutions of science and knowledge of Indonesia (LIPI) Yogyakarta between July to August 2015. Design of the experiment was completely randomized design (CRD) with 5 levels NAA concentration there are 0, 2.5, 5, 7.5, and 10 mg/l. All of the treatment eight times replicated. Beta-glucan levels analyzed by sulfuric phenol method then be measured by spectrophotometer. The data were analyzed by analysis of variance followed by Duncan Multiple Range Test 5% if significance different among the treaments. Conclusion of the study showed that the use of NAA at concentrations of 0 to 10 mg/l increase in the content of beta-glucan follow the linear model (R2: 0.83).
