    Abstract

    ABSTRACT TEGUH PAMUNGKAS., 2016, “PERFORMANCE EVALUATION OF T-JUNCTION DIPONEGORO ROADS – BIMA ROADS DISTRICT OF KLATEN (GUMULAN INTERSECTION)” Growth means of transport which is much faster than the growth in road infrastructure causes disruption to traffic flow, resulting in congestion, especially if the absence of effective arrangements. Setting using the traffic lights are among the most effective, especially if the volume of traffic at the intersection is relatively solid. This final project aims to analyze the performance of Simpang Not signalized, make improvements, calculate the Budget Plan (RAB) and time schedule. The way research is carried out by conducting a survey in the field to obtain primary data, and collecting secondary data from several agencies. Such data include traffic volume, geometry and the unit price is then processed using the reference Indonesian Highway Capacity Manual (MKJI) 1997 and Microsoft Excel program 2013. Several indicators of the results of the analysis on the signalized intersection that is the degree of saturation, long queues, delay. From the analysis results obtained degree of saturation and the length of the queue in sequence, namely on Thursday to North Diponegoro Road 0.532; 58,0 m, West Diponegoro Street 0.785; 87,6 m and Bima Road 0,785 : 72,1 m. Average intersection delay to Thursday of 14,57 seconds / smp. Improvements made APILL installation, installation of stop prohibited signs .The cost required for the repair is Rp 261.045 million, -. Time schedule required for installation of the traffic light is for 16 days.
