    Abstract

IMPLEMENTATION OF SEARCH, SOLVE, CREATE, AND SHARE (SSCS) MODEL TO IMPROVE ANALYTICAL SKILLS AND LEARNING ACHIEVEMENT ON SUBJECT MATTER OF SOLUBILITY AND SOLUBILITY PRODUCT STUDENT OF CLASS XI MIA 3 EVEN SEMESTER SMA BATIK 2 SURAKARTA IN THE ACADEMIC YEAR OF 2015/2016. Minor Thesis. Surakarta: Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Sebelas Maret University. Juli 2016. This aims of the research were to improve: (1) analytical skills in the subject matter solubility and solubility product in SMA Batik 2 Surakarta by implementing Search, Solve, Create, and Share (SSCS) model, (2) student’s learning achievement in the subject matter solubility and solubility product in SMA Batik 2 Surakarta by implementing Search, Solve, Create, and Share (SSCS) model. This research was a Clasroom Action Research (CAR) which was held in two cycles. The implementation phase of cycle, consist of planning, acting, observing, and reflecting. The research subject was the student of class XI MIA 3 of SMA Batik 2 Surakarta in the academic year of 2015/2016. The data collection technique were observation, interviews, document, questionnaires, and test. Analysis of data using qualitative descriptive method. The result of the research showed that: (1) Implementation of Search, Solve, Create, and Share (SSCS) model could be improved student’s analytical skills in the subject matter solubility and solubility product at class XI MIA 3 SMA Batik 2 Surakarta in academic year 2015/2016. In the cycle I, the percentage of analytical skills of students was 57% and increased to 73% in the cycle II, (2) Implementation of Search, Solve, Create, and Share (SSCS) model could be improved the student’s learning achievement in the subject matter solubility and solubility product at class XI MIA 3 SMA Batik 2 Surakarta in academic year 2015/2016. Based on the test results of the cycle I, the percentage of knowledge aspects of the student’s learning achievement was 54% and increased to 78% in the cycle II. In the cycle I, the percentage of attitude aspects was 87% and increased to 100% in the cycle II.The percentage of skill aspects was 100% in the cycle I.
