    Abstract

PERFORMANCE EVALUATION OF MECHANICAL ENGINEERING EDUCATION DEPARTEMENT OF TEACHER TRAINING AND EDUCATION FACULTY SEBELAS MARET UNIVERSITY USING INTEGRATED PERFORMANCE MEASUREMENT SYSTEMS (IPMS) METHODS. Thesis, Surakarta: Teacher Training and Education Faculty of Sebelas Maret University, July 2016. This study aims to: (1) design the performace measurement on Mechanical Engineering Education Departement; (2) find performace level of Mechanical Engineering Education Departement; and (3) find anything matter which needs to be improved and fixed in Mechanical Engineering Education Departement performances. The methods was used on this study are: (1) Integrated Performance Measurement Systems (IPMS) which was the main purposes was to design the performace measurement system to be in the form Key Performance Indicators (KPI); (2) Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) which was purposed to do qualifying toward performance measurement perspective, objectives, and Key Performance Indicators (KPI); and (3) Objective Matrix (OMAX) which was purpused to do performance measurement in every Key Performance Indicators (KPI) and overall performace of Mechanical Engineering Education Departement. The result of this study are shown as: (1) the design result of performance measurement consist of 14 indicator which is include of 6 perspective criteria of measurement performance which is consist by student’s perspective,curricullum’s perspective, human resource perspective, learning’s perspective, academic administration’s perspective, and teamwork and partnership’s perspective. (2) the highest performace’s level from each Key Performance Indicators (KPI) is a availabe indicator instrument standart to measure lecturer’s performance on the lectures, meanwhile the lowest performance is indicator 95% sheet lectures news. Overall, Mechanical Engineering Education Departement performances has performance index as big as 5.055, so that, Mechanical Engineering Education Departement performances is entering into sustain the performance improvement category. (3) The performaces which is needed to be improving on Mechanical Engineering Education Departement of Sebelas Maret University Surakarta are service satisfaction index as big as 3.5, administration service satisfaction index as big as 3.5, 95 % of alumni work on suitable competency jobs, gain 1 people whom service student’s and alumni’s academic administration, makes monitoring of learning enforcement at least 2 times on 1 semester, makes evaluation of learning enforcement at least 2 times on 1 semester, add 2 unit production machine for machine laboratorium, and gain people to manage system information network for area Pabelan Campus area. The performance which is needed to be fixed on Mechanical Engineering Education Departement of Sebelas Maret University Surakarta is 95% sheet filling of lectures news.
