    Abstract

    Abstract Analysis of Brand Awareness (Kesadaran Merek) of Bringinlife Life Insurance in Surakarta by: Bagus Panji Dharmawan F3213008 The strict increases of the development of business and marketing make a brand of a company becomes a differentiator. The brand becomes an important element of companies to be known to the customer. Customers will tend to choose the well-known brand than the rarely known brand. Therefore, the company should place its brand into customer’s mind. Brand awareness analysis of Bringinlife Life Insurance aims to determine public awareness of the brand of Bringinlife Insurance. Brand awareness is divided into four categories, namely, Top of Mind, Brand Recall, Brand Recognition and Brand unaware. The method in this research is descriptive analysis is to provide a descriptive overview of the object under study. 100 respondents is divided into 20 respondents using convenience sampling in each of the five districts in the city of Surakarta, namely, PasarKliwon, Jebres, Laweyan, Serengan, and Banjarsari. The result of this research puts Bringinlife Life Insurance in Brand Recall category of this Brand Awareness analysis with 28 respondent (28%). Meanwhile Prudential Insurance becomes Top of Mind category with 34 respondent (34%). The respondent puts Bringinlife Life Insurance as the second brand in mind after mentioning the brand most remembered (Top of Mind). The researcher gives an advice to Bringinlife Life Insurance to enhance the promotion through various media such as advertisement in the electronic media or print media.
