    As time goes by, people’s activities to fulfill their necessities will increase. That affects the transportation system because travel demand will also increase. Therefore it is necessary to estimate OD-Matrix. The purpose of this study was to determine the value of β using gravity method with tanner function as barrier, also to find out the trip distribution of Surakarta City in 2025. This study was conducted in Surakarta City which is the center of economic growth both for the society in Surakarta City or for the society around Surakarta City such as Sukoharjo, Karanganyar, Sragen, Boyolali, Klaten and Wonogiri.The division of zone system based on the number of villages in Surakarta with 51 zones plus 14 external zones. Survey was conducted in 17 location, there are 23 location in internal zone and 4 location in external zone. OD-Matrix was estimated using EMME/3 software. Even though OD-Matrix in 2025 was estimated using Gravity Model. On this model there is parameter β that function as determinants of the magnitude of the spread of values that occur in each zone. The method for obtaining parameter β is Newton-Raphson method, which was using Matlab software. Before that, origin (Oi) and Destination (Dd) in 2025 multiplied by growth factor (3,3%). Validity test used the coefficient of Determination (R2). The value of β is 0,00084. with a level of validation (R2) 0,8753. From the results of calculations using EMME/3, total trip distribution estimation of Surakarta in 2025 is 56029 pcu/hour. Keywords : OD-Matrix, Gravity Model , Trip Distribution, Matlab
