EFFORTS TO IMPROVE SELF REGULATED LEARNING AND STUDENTS LEARNING ACHIEVEMENT BY USING PROCESS ORIENTED GUIDED INQUIRY LEARNING (POGIL) COMPLETED WITH STUDENT WORKSHEET IN SUBJECT MATTER BUFFER SOLUTION AT CLASS XI MIPA 2 STATE SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL 2 SUKOHARJO IN THE ACADEMIC YEAR OF 2015/2016. Minor Thesis. Surakarta: Faculty of Teacher Training and Education. Sebelas Maret University. October 2016. The purpose of this research were to improve: (1) self regulated learning by using Process Oriented Guided Inquiry Learning (POGIL) completed with student worksheet in subject matter buffer solution at class XI MIPA 2 State Senior High School 2 Sukoharjo in the academic year of 2015/2016, (2) students learning achievement by using Process Oriented Guided of Inquiry Learning (POGIL) completed with student worksheet in subject matter buffer solution at class XI MIPA 2 State Senior High School 2 Sukoharjo in the academic year of 2015/2016. This research was a Classroom Action Research (CAR) which was held in two cycles. Each cycle contains four steps, which is consist of planning, acting, observing, and reflecting steps. The subject of this research was the student of class XI MIPA 2 of State Senior High School 2 Sukoharjo in the academic year of 2015/2016. Data sources were taken from teacher and students. Data were obtained by tests, observations, interviews, questionnaires, and documents. Data analysis technique used qualitative descriptive analysis. The results of this research showed that Process Oriented Guided Inquiry Learning (POGIL) completed with student worksheet can improved: (1) self regulated learning in subject matter of buffer solution. The result were 23% in pre cycle, increased to 69,23% in cycle I and 84,62% in cycle II, (2) Students learning achievement in subject matter of buffer solution. Students knowledge aspect was 53,8% in cycle I and became to 82,1% in cycle II. Students attitude aspect was 84,7% in cycle I and became to 92,31% in cycle II.
