    Abstract

    Barium Titanat as a Ferroelectric Material has been prepared using Copricipitation method. The samples were sintered at temperature 800oC and 900oC with variation of holding time 1, 2, 3, and 4 hours. Samples characterization was performed by using X-Ray Diffraction (XRD) instrument to determine crystallinity, crystallite size and lattice parameter. The morfologi BaTiO3 was characterized by Scanning Electron Microscopy SEM, the increase of sintering temperature and holding time cause grain size increase. The sawyer tower loop circuit to obtain histerisis loop. The measurement by RLC meter used to obtain dielectric constants, where measurement performed in the frequancy range 1 kHz to 100 kHz. The highest of dielectric constantwas obtained at 900°Cand by holding time 4 hours is 184. Keywords: Barium titanat, Dielectric constant, Coprecipitation, Grain Size.
