    ABSTRACK IDHAR HARIS SETIAWAN, 2016, "MANUFACTURING DRIVE MECHANISM OF SAWDUST PRESS MACHINE", final project, Diploma III Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Sebelas Maret University Surakarta. The final project aims to produce a tool or machine that has a function as pressing sawdust will be used as a medium for oyster mushroom cultivation on a large scale. This is because the press machine powder timber manually generate greater manpower but the results press bit, pressing on a small scale. Pressing process sawdust press machine uses the working principle step rotary movement of the piston is converted into a disc rotary motion or rectilinear motion up and down on the shaft suppressors and suppressor plate. This machine requires electrical current to operate the engine in the form of an electric motor 1/4 HP 1750 rpm. Energy from the electric motor will produce a better pressing pressure which results in fungus baglog or sawdust solid. The end result of the implementation of this final project is a press machine sawdust as oyster mushroom cultivation media by using the electric motor. This press machine capacity can press two baglog or sawdust in one time pressing and can produce 15 baglog within 1 minute. Keywords: Sawdust Press Machine, Drive Mechanism, Oyster Mushrooms.
