HUBUNGAN PENERAPAN WORK PREPARATION SHEET (WPS) DAN PERAN INSTRUKTUR DENGAN KETERAMPILAN MEMBUAT ULIR SQUARE PADA MATA PELAJARAN PRAKTIK OPERASI MESIN BUBUT LANJUT DI SMK BHINNEKA KARYA SURAKARTA. Skripsi, Fakultas Keguruan dan Ilmu Pendidikan Universitas Sebelas Maret Surakarta. Juli 2016 Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) menemukan hubungan antara penerapan Work Preparation Sheet (WPS) dengan keterampilan membuat ulir pada mata pelajaran praktik operasi mesin bubut lanjut di SMK Bhinneka Karya Surakarta, (2) menemukan hubungan antara peran instruktur dengan keterampilan membuat ulir pada mata pelajaran praktik operasi mesin bubut lanjut di SMK Bhinneka Karya Surakarta, (3) menemukan hubungan penerapan Work Preparation Sheet (WPS) antara peran instruktur secara simultan dengan keterampilan membuat ulir square pada mata pelajaran praktik operasi mesin bubut lanjut di SMK Bhinneka Karya Surakarta. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif korelasional. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah keseluruhan siswa kelas XI Program Keahlian Teknik Mesin Produksi di SMK Bhinneka Karya Surakarta dengan jumlah 106 siswa. Ukuran sampel ditentukan dengan menggunakan tabel Issac-Michael yaitu sebanyak 84 siswa. Anggota sampel ditunjuk dengan menggunakan teknik simple random sampling. Variabel yang diuji dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari dua variabel bebas yaitu penerapan Work Preparation Sheet (WPS) dan peran instruktur, serta satu variabel terikat yaitu keterampilan membuat ulir square. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan metode angket dan metode dokumentasi. Metode angket digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data penerapan Work Preparation Sheet (WPS) dan peran instruktur, sedangkan metode dokumentasi digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data variabel keterampilan membuat ulir square. Uji coba angket dilakukan terhadap 35 siswa kelas XI Program Keahlian Teknik Mesin di SMK Bhinneka Karya Surakarta. Uji validitas menggunakan rumus product moment, selanjutnya dilakukan uji reliabilitas menggunakan rumus Alpha Cronbach. Proses olah data ini menggunakan bantuan software IBM SPSS versi 21.0. Uji persyaratan analisis yang digunakan adalah uji normalitas, uji linieritas, uji multikolinieritas, uji autokorelasi, dan uji heteroskedastisitas. Teknik analisis data menggunakan teknik analisis korelasi partial dan regresi linier ganda. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa (1) ada hubungan positif yang signifikan antara penerapan Work Preparation Sheet (WPS) dan keterampilan membuat ulir square pada mata pelajaran praktik operasi mesin bubut lanjut di SMK Bhinneka Karya Surakarta (rhitung > rtabel atau 0,662 > 0,179, pada taraf signifikasi 5%), sehingga hipotesis pertama teruji kebenaranya. (2) ada hubungan positif antara peran instruktur dan keterampilan membuat ulir square pada mata pelajaran praktik operasi mesin bubut lanjut di SMK Bhinneka Karya Surakarta (rhitung > rtabel atau 0,645 > 0,179, pada taraf signifikasi 5%). (3) ada hubungan positif yang signifikan antara penerapan Work Preparation Sheet (WPS) dan peran instruktur secara simultan dengan keterampilan membuat ulir square pada mata pelajaran praktik operasi mesin bubut lanjut di SMK Bhinneka Karya Surakarta. (ry12 = 0,559 dengan Fhitung > Ftabel yaitu 51,292 >3,11 pada taraf signifikasi 5%), sehingga hipotesis ketiga teruji kebenaranya. Sumbangan efektif yang diberikan variabel penerapan Work Preparation Sheet (WPS) terhadap keterampilan membuat ulir square adalah 43,9%, sedangkan variabel peran instruktur memberikan sumbangan efektif sebesar 12%. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa kedua variabel memberikan sumbangan efektif terhadap keterampilan membuat ulir square sebesar 55,9% masih ada 44,1% dipengaruhi oleh faktor-faktor lain yang tidak dijelaskan pada penelitian ini. Model hubungan X1 dan X2 terhadap Y adalah Y= 67,297 + 0,156 X1 + 0,085 X2. Hubungan penerapan Work Preparation Sheet (WPS) sebagai media pembelajaran praktik serta peran instruktur sebagai pendamping praktik menghasilkan efisiensi praktik mesin bubut siswa dalam membuat ulir square dari segi waktu pengerjaan lebih cepat dan nilai praktik meningkat. THE IMPLEMENTATION CORRELATION OF WORK PREPARATION SHEE (WPS) AND INSTRUCTOR ROLE WITH THE SKILL OF SQUARE THREADING IN SUBJECT PRACTICE OF ADVANCE OPERATIONS OF LATHE MACHINE IN VOCATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL OF BHINNEKA KARYA SURAKARTA. This research aims at finding out: (1) to find the correlation between Work Preparation Sheet (WPS) and the threading skills in the subject practice advance operations of lathe machine in Vocational High School of Bhinneka Karya Surakarta, (2) to find the correlation between instructor role and threading skills in the subject practice advance operations of lathe machine in Vocational High School of Bhinneka Karya Surakarta, (3) to find the implementation correlation of Work Preparation Sheet (WPS) between simultaneously instructor role and square thread making-skills in the subject practice of advance operations of lathe machine at Vocational High School of Bhinneka Karya Surakarta. This research is a correlational quantitative research. The population of this research are 106 students of class XI program expertise of mechanical engineering production in Vocational High School of Bhinneka Karya Surakarta. The sample size was appointed by Issac-Michael table as many as 84 students. The sample members were appointed by using simple random sampling technique. The variables tested in this study consisted of two independent variables, namely the application of Work Preparation Sheet (WPS) and the instructor role, and the dependent variable is the skill to make square thread. Data collection methods using questionnaires was and document method. The questionnaire method which used to collect data application of Work Preparation Sheet (WPS) and the instructor role, while the documentation method used to collect data variable square thread-making skills. The trial test of questionnaire conducted as many as 35 student of class XI Program Expertise of Mechanical Engineering in Vocational High School of Bhinneka Karya Surakarta. The validity test using the product moment formula, then performed the reliability test using Cronbach Alpha formula. This processing data was using IBM SPSS software version 21.0. Analysis test that used was normality test, linearity, multicollinearity test, autocorrelation, and heteroscedasticity test. Data analysis techniques using the technique of partial correlation analysis and multiple linear regression. The results of this research indicate that (1) there is a positive correlation between the implementation of Work Preparation Sheet (WPS) and square thread-making skills in subject practice of advance operations of lathe machine in Vocational High School of Bhinneka Karya Surakarta (rcount > rtable or 0,662 > 0,220, the significance level of 5%), so the first hypothesis tested were correct. (2) there is a significant positive correlation between instructor role and square thread making-skills in subject practice of advance operations of lathe machine in Vocational High School of Bhinneka Karya Surakarta (rcount > rtable or 0,645 > 0,220, the significance level of 5%). (3) there is a significant positive correlation between the application of Work Preparation Sheet (WPS) and instructor role simultaneously with square thread making-skills in subject practice of advance operations of lathe machine in Vocational High School of Bhinneka Karya Surakarta. (ry12 = 0,559 with Fcount > Ftable > rtable is 51,292 > 3,11 the significance level of 5%), so the third hypothesis tested were correct. The effective contribution given by variable of Work Preparation Sheet (WPS) toward square thread making-skills is 43,9%, while the variable of instructor role gives the effective contribution of 12%. This indicates that the two variables contribute effectively towards square thread making-skills at 55,9% and there is 44,1% affected by other factors that are not described in this research. The correlation model X1 and X2 towards Y is Y= 67,297 + 0,156 X1 + 0,085 X2. The implementation correlation of Work Preparation Sheet (WPS) as media for practice learning and the role of the instructor as facilitator practice produce efficiency students to lathe machine practice in making square threaded in terms of faster time processing and increase the score of the practice.
