    Abstract

    ABSTRACT AN ANALYSIS ON EMPLOYEE RECRUITMENT SYSTEM IN PD. BKK KARANGANYAR Febian Reska F3513030 Employee is basically a company’s asset, even it can be said that employee is a part of company. The definition of employee or worker, according to Law Number 13 of Article 1 of 2003, is everyone that can do work in order to produce product or service to meet both personal need and public need. Employee as the member of company should participate effectively in promoting and giving added-value to company in any aspect consistent with its ability and competency. A company’s successful achievement of objective and operating goal is inseparable from the role of competent and high-integrity employees. Employee recruitment issue is a very important element because it is the beginning process to assess the quality of HR that will cooperate with the company later in achieving the company’s objective because the role of high-quality employee highly supports the company’s effectiveness. The objective of research was to find out the employee recruiting procedure in PD. BKK Karanganyar. This research was conducted using descriptive qualitative method, with written and spoken rather than numerical data. From the result of observation, it could be found that in selection process, PD. BKK Karanganyar had undertaken the procedures well, particularly by involving the close superior. Thus the superior of prospect employee could indentify character each other, so that it could be found out whether or not the superior and employee can cooperate well. Then, the recruitment process conducted in PD. BKK Karanganyar included collecting the application coming, calling the prospect selected employees, and selecting them encompassing administrative selection, skill test and interview, and then the company accepted the employees with training period first, and after the training period, the company would determine whether or not the prospect employee was accepted.
