Abstract

THE DESIGN OF THE MOVER TUBERS PART OF THE PRODUCTION PROCESS ADI NUGROHO ABSTRACT The purpose of this final project is to make the mower bulbs. Mowers bulbs serves to facilitate cutting the tubers continuously with electric power. Making mower tubers include the calculation and design drawings, determine the components that will be used. The next stage is the process of manufacture and assembly. The last phase is the testing process, the end result of this tuber cutting machine is the production of cutting machines within 1 hour. Based on the result of design cutting machine bulbs, tubers order manufacturing of cutting machine that is making the framework, the manufacture of blades, blade cover manufacture, manufacture of v-belt cover, manufacture breaker shaft and cover, the process of painting and final assembly process. This tubers cutting machine uses an electric motor powered ½ Hp, the cost to make these bulbs mower Rp 2.062.500.- Keywords: cutting machine tubers, breaker shaft, ½ HP
