    Abstract

    Sticks and chips maker is tubers cutting machine are designed so that they can work in semi-automatic and continuously. The intention of this machine industry because many middle-class households are constrained in the production process. In the market, a tool used for tubers cutting itself has a production capacity of 40kg / h, so it need more machines and workers. Therefore we need for a machine that is more effective and efficient for the cutting process. Sticks and chips maker has a dual work system, which is able to work in semi-automatic as sticks and chips cuter simultaneously with just one machine operator. It certainly influenced the production process faster with a more uniform result. Data analysis results show frame design that suits for market condition. The results include the dimensions of the machine are 85cm x 50cm x 70cm and made of iron coated with rust paint, thereby reducing the corrision potential to happen. The machine is equipped with two pairs of blades which is able to produce chips up to 75kg / h on each blade. Keyword : chips and stick, frame, production.
