    Abstract

THE APPLICATION OF SCRAMBLE TECHNIQUES TO IMPROVED THE SKILLS OF WRITING JAVANESE SCRIPT ON THE THIRD GRADE STUDENTS OF SD NEGERI GAJAHAN, COLOMADU, KARANGANYAR AT 2012/2013 ACADEMIC YEAR.Skripsi, Teacher Training and Education Faculty of Sebelas Maret University Surakarta. July 2016. Purpose of the research is to improve the writing Javanese script skill by using scramble techniques and describe the implementation by using scramble technique to improve the writing Javanese script skill on the third grade students of SD Negeri Gajahan, Colomadu, Karanganyar at 2012/2013 Academic Year. The type of research is classroom action research, it conducted two cycles, each cycles conducted four phases, there are planning, action implementation, observation, and reflection. Subject of the research is the fourth grade students of SD Negeri Gajahan, Colomadu, Karanganyar at 2012/2013 Academic Year amounting to 30 students. Data is collected by using interview, observation, documentation, and test. Data is analyzed by using an interactive analysis model, it conducted three component, that are data reduction, display data, and drawing conclusion or verification. Data validity is examined by using data triangulation and method triangulation. The result of research is showed that the using comic media can improve the writing text skill from precycle to cycle 1 and from cycle 1 to cycle 2. The average of writing text skill before the action (precondition) among students was 49,8, in first cycle, the average grade increased to 56,94 and second cycle, the average grade increased to 70,5. Before action of the research, students who acquired KKM grade ≥70 were 1 students (6,66%), in the first cycle the number of students increased to 6 students (20%) and in the second cycle, the number of the students increased again became 20 students (66,67%). The conclusion from the research is using scramble techniques can improve the writing Javanese script skill. Keyword: scramble techniques, writing Javanese script
