    Abstract

    COMPARISON OF PLANT GROWTH GREEN LETTUCE (Lactuca sativa) WITH HYDROPONICS SYSTEM NFT TREATMENT CONCENTRATION Nur Rais Irfan Aminuddin1 H3313038 Dr. Suminah, M.Si2 and Ir. Sri Hartati, MP3 ABSTRACT This study uses two treatments, ie 200 plants using a concentration of 1200 ppm and 200 other plants uses a concentration of 800 ppm. The whole plant in this study cultivated by hydroponic system NFT. NFT hydroponic system, the food was a mixture of fertilizer salts dissolved and given regularly. Lettuce plant has a taproot and root branches spread in all directions at a depth of 25-30 cm. Lettuce plant stems jointed position as the center leaf. Green lettuce seeding begins with small pieces of rockwool soak in water and then drained until no water is dripping. Transplanting is done by moving the seedlings nursery area for the maturation when the plant is 10-14 days from seedling. This conclusion that can be drawn from this study is 1200 ppm concentration treatments had a mean green lettuce hydroponic plant growth better than green lettuce crop traetment concentration of 800 ppm, this can be seen on the plant height, leaf number and fresh weight of the plant.
