    Abstract

    ABSTRACT EVENT MARKETING STRATEGY IMPLEMENTATION EFFORTS AS TRAFFIC VOLUME OF VISITORS THE PARK MALL By : Stella Magdalena Simboh F3213066 Currently growth and development shopping center (mall) more tight because of the most investors want to build mall in trading center city. The Park is one of them, The Park one of them , building The Green Atmosphere superblock concept offers the best facilities and comfort for visitors who will come to shop or just for entertainment with an atmosphere that is owned. This study aims to analyze application of event marketing strategies The Park Mall Solo Baru as an effort to increase the volume of visitor traffic to determine: ( 1 ) event marketing strategy that has been used in The Pak Mall . ( 2 ) Constraints faced in making the application of event marketing strategy . The mechanical research is descriptive , namely the depiction of an object in accordance with the facts. The data used is qualitative data that are not tangible figures by the method of data collection by interview , observation , and literature. Research carried out lead to the conclusion that the implementation of the strategy event marketing by determining the theme of the month is very easy division Markom to plan events and talent the right to charge the events calendar empty month , the organization of events greatly affect an increasing number of traffic volume two to three times more than a normal day , the event management division is still difficult to offer and look for event to be held at the usual operational ( Monday-Friday ) for events held by organizers are always held on the weekend ( Saturday-Sunday ). Suggestions put forward in this research is to provide a special offer on the vendor nor the parties would be invited to cooperate in the organization of the event in order to organize events on a regular day . Menginovasi events from previous years with the same theme in certain months . Procurement bazaar stand regularly in the Atrium venue.
