    Abstract

ABSTRACT Fani Fatimah Kusuma Ningrum, R.0212015, 2016. Correlation Between Work Sitting Posture and Repetitive Movements with Cumulatif Trauma Disorder (CTD) of the Tailors in CV. Maju Abadi Garment, Sukoharjo, Occupational Health and Safety Faculty of Medicine, Sebelas Maret University Surakarta. Background : Cumulatif Trauma Disorder (CTD) is one of health problems caused by the overused of tendo-muscle and bone in parts of body. The Eighth Pan-Pacific Conferenceon Occupational Ergonomics in Thailand 2007 about the prevalence of musculoskeletal indication to Indonesian workers shows that there are many Low Back Pains (LBP) experieced. Cumulative Trauma Disorder is less ergonomic position while working. In the initial survey done to the tailors of CV. Maju Abadi Garment, they experienced some pains in the hands, shoulders, backs, and waists. This research aims to know the correlation between work sitting posture to the repetitive movements and Cumulatif Trauma Disorder (CTD). Methods : This research is Observational Analytic Research using cross sectional reseach design. The respondents were 45 of 180 tailors in CV. This research used Simple Random Sampling. This reseach used camera to measure work sitting posture, video and stopwatch to calculate the repetitive movements frequency, and questionnaire to measure Cumulative Trauma Disorder. The bivariate data analysis used was spearman correlational analysis and multivariate analysis used was logistic regression analysis. Results : The results of 45 respondents who were observed showed that Cumulatif Trauma Disorder score in the questionnaire was in the medium risk level category, work sitting posture was in the medium risk level category, and the median of repetitive movement was 18. The logistic regression analysis result did show any significant correlation between independent and dependent variable with OR value but did not show the strength as big as and as small as or constant between two variables. Conclusion : There is have correlation between work sitting posture and repetitive movements with Cumulative Trauma Disorder to the tailors of CV. Maju Abadi Garment, Sukoharjo. Keywords: Cumulatif Trauma Disorder, Work Sitting Posture, Repetitive Movements.
