    Abstract

    Anisa Nur Rochmah. K6411007. Instrument Development of Peer Assessment for Pancasila and Civics Education (Study in the class of year ten of SMA in Trenggalek). Thesis, Surakarta: Teacher Training and Education Faculty, Sebelas Maret University, May 2016. The objective of this study is to arrange the instrument of peer assessment for Pancasila and Civics Education in the class of year ten of SMA in Trenggalek. This research is Research and Development (R&D) which is introduced by Borg and Gall. The data types in this research used qualitative and quantitative. The data source used informants of Pancasila and Civics Education teachers in the class of year ten of SMA Negeri 1 Trenggalek and SMA Negeri 2 Trenggalek, assessment experts, material and development experts of LPPM P UNS, and students. The techniques of collecting data were observation, interview and questionnaire. The try out conducted to teachers, assessment experts, material and development experts, and students. The numbering data analyze used descriptive statistic that presented into percentage and the qualitative data presented into explanation data and drawing conclusions. The steps of research were develop of the beginning product, try out of experts and revision, try out of small group, try out of big group, product completing, and the finish product. The research result shown the peer assessment that tested was suitable to be used, it was proven by the value of the big group try out for product of semester 1 which is 91.47 and product of semester 2 which is 91.85. Both of the assessment include on the category “very good” in the directive of assessment product development of National Education Department. Based on the result, it can be concluded that research procedure that conducted was good by way of the research steps and the collecting data, planning, product draft development, try out, revision, product completing until the finish product.
