Abstract
Abstract ROLLING BEARING FAULT DETECTION ON CENTRIFUGAL PUMP USING VIBRATION SIGNAL ANALYSIS The objective of this research is to obtain the vibration signal characteristic generate from centrifugal pump, wich has defects on its bearing. The testing is performed on free load condition, centrifugal pump within rollig bearing inside, and assumed that defects occurs in the bearing’s element only. Spectrum analysis applied to compare the vibration signal characteristic between good bearing and fault bearing. The results show, first bearing fault indication that high amplitudo seen by plotting wide range frequency. Furthermore, bearing within defect on its outer race generates dominant amplitude in 3xBPFO (197.5 Hz) frequency range, inner race fault generates dominant amplitude in 4xBPFI (435 Hz) frequency range. While ball defect generates dominant amplitude in 2xBSF (62.5 Hz) frequency range. Good bearing has 0.802 volt amplitude, while inner race fault has 1.294 volt amplitude, outer race fault has 1.662 volt amplitude and ball defect has 2.006 volt ampitude
