    Abstract

THE IMPLEMENTATION OF TEAM ASSISTED INDIVIDUALIZATION SUPPORTED CONCEPT MAP TO IMPROVE COOPERATION ABILITY AND STUDENTS’ ACHIEVEMENT IN THE THERMOCHEMISTRY CLASS XI MIA SMA ISLAM 1 SURAKARTA. A Thesis, Teacher Training and Education Faculty, Sebelas Maret University, Surakarta. June 2016. This research aims to improve : (1) students’ cooperation ability in the thermochemistry (2) students’ achievement in the thermochemistry. This research is a classroom action research which conducted in two cycles. Every cycle consist of planning, action, observation, and reflection. The subject of this research were students of class XI MIA SMA Islam 1 Surakarta in the academic year of 2015/2016. Data resources were teacher and students. Data collected through observation, interview, test, also questionnaire test. Data analysis was using descriptive qualitative. The result of this research showed that: (1) Team Assisted Individualization (TAI) model accompanied by concept map in thermochemistry material class XI MIA SMA Islam 1 Surakarta in the academic year of 2015/2016 improved cooperation ability of students. The improve of cooperation ability were 73,6% in cycle I to 84% in cycle II; (2) Team Assisted Individualization (TAI) model accompanied by concept map in thermochemistry material class XI MIA SMA Islam 1 Surakarta on academic year 2015/2016 improved achievement of students. The improve achievement on cognitive aspect were 50% in cycle I to 73% in cycle II.
