USE ROLE MODEL TYPE COOPERATIVE LEARNING STUDENT TEAMS-ACHIEVEMENT DIVISIONS (STAD) THE IMPROVEMENT OF ACHIEVEMENT STUDENTS CLASS X SMA ISLAM NUR HIDAYAH SUKOHARJO INTEGRATED ACADEMIC YEAR 2015/2016 (Highlights: Concepts Geography). Thesis, the Faculty of Education. University March Surakarta. March 2016. The purpose of this research is 1) To improve learning achievement of students of class X with the use of cooperative learning model Student Teams-Achievement Divisions (STAD) in the Integrated Nur Hidayah Islamic School Sukoharjo. 2) increase keefektifkan study of students of class X with the use of cooperative learning model Student Teams-Achievement Divisions (STAD) in the Integrated Nur Hidayah Islamic School Sukoharjo. This type of research is a class action with cooperative learning model Student Teams-Achievement Divisions (STAD). The subjects were students class X2 ISAM Nur Hidayah SMA Surakarta. Collection techniques used in this study were interviews, test and documentation. Data effectiveness of learners obtained from the observation of activity and learning conditions of students who performed during the learning process, while for the data capabilities of students learning achievement test results obtained from the end of the cycle. Based on the results of this study concluded that the implementation of cooperative learning model Student Teams-Achievement Divisions (STAD) in Geography subject can improve the performance and effectiveness of learners. The learning achievement otherwise completed because of the general achievement of student achievement is above the standard limit value due Geography is 70. While the effectiveness of student learning increases as you have reached the criteria of more than 70% of the indicators of activity and learning conditions of students. Prior to the implementation of cooperative learning model Student Teams-Achievement Divisions (STAD) the average value of a class of students is 63, but after the implementation of cooperative learning model Student Teams-Achievement Divisions (STAD) the average value of the class into 72.12 in the first cycle and 80.77 in the second cycle. In the first cycle of 15 students (57.69%) scored above 70 on the 75% of the planned target. In the second cycle the value of the average grade 80.77 so that an increase compared to the cycle I. A total of 24 students (92.31%) has reached a value of over 70 of the 75% targets. While learning activities and learning conditions of students in general has reached 70% of the indicators that have been planned.
