    Abstract

    ABSTRACT IMPLEMENTATION OF PROMOTIONAL STRATEGIES ON THE PT ASTRA MOTOR KLATEN TERMS OF CREDIT AND RELATIONSHIP MARKETING Oleh : Sri Yuliyanti F3213065 Implementation of promotion strategy on PT. Astra Motor Klaten. The analysis to determine : (1) Promotion strategiethat have been used by PT. Astra Motor Klaten. (2) Obstacles when implementing promotion strategy. A research technique that used is descriptive, means depiction of an object in accordance with facts.Using qualitive data that intangible figures, by collecting data of interview, observation, and literature. That result of this research is a conclution that promotion strategy is able by credit or relationship marketing (personal selling, sales promotion, advertising, and public relations). The obstacles of promotion are completion between dealer, not understand specification the product, products are sold incomplete. The suggestions of this research are to maintain good relations with customers, conducting job training for new or exiting sales, using more creative language in advertising, and maximize promotion strategy that being used.
