    Abstract

    The purpose of this research is to get a deep description about development strategy in furniture product to enter international market at PT Otazen Indonesia and also to know what the problem that happen in PT Otazen Indonesia. The method of this research is case study, that means taking a certain object to be analyzed in clearly focuses in one problem. The data that used are primary data and secondary data. The primary data was collected by direct interview to the PT Otazen Indonesia as the exporter, and the secondary data was found from books and other sources. The result of this research are development strategy in furniture product to enter international market at PT Otazen Indonesia use 5M strategy that contain Man, machine, material, money, method and the problem are employer, design and time. The suggestion are management must have a complete equipment that can completely another tool to get a new product that wanted by consument. PT Otazen Indonesia organize a training to empoyer expecially on production theme. This training can useful to reduce uncorrect action on making product and make delivery order ontime. Company muse produce an interesting product for consument so that they can compete with another company. Keyword : Product Development
