    Abstract

    The purpose of this research is to get the deep description about benefit- cost on stuffing process delayed that done by furniture Export Company. It can be seen from the assuming count of each container which was researched among container 40 feet and container 20 feet. Stuffing delayed can be happened by many causes. In this case, most happen because of side that called as vendor. The method of this research is case study , that means taking a certain object to be analyzed in clearly focuses in one problem. The data that used are primary data and secondery data. The primary data was collected by direct interview to the PT Ota Indonesia as the exporter, and the secondary data was found from books and other sources. The result of this research are the delaying judgment of stuffing process done by PT Ota Indonesia caused by exploded order target, because of that PT Ota Indonesia more selective to choose the vendor, to reduce the risk an also to prevent the delayed of stuffing process. By a delaying process of stuffing, PT Ota Indonesia still got a profit. The normal profit of each container 40 feet can reach 899.415.090 rupiahs, and for container 20 feet; the normal profit can reach 449.707.545 rupiahs. Delay Shipment caused the profit to 794.483.330 rupiahs for container 40 feet, and 52.465.880 rupiahs for container 20 feet. The suggestion for the company is to minimalize the fault when accepting the products from third side (vendor) or by adding more vendors which has good capability and clear specification. The primary side also repair Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) in Quality Control to pressure the fault stuffing and keep the product quality in producing or accepting the products from the vendor.
