    Abstract

    PENERAPAN NILAI-NILAI KETELADANAN KHALIFAH UMAR BIN KHATTAB DALAM PEMBELAJARAN SEJARAH KEBUDAYAAN ISLAM KELAS VII (STUDI KASUS DI MTs NEGERI 2 SURAKARTA) Oleh: Muhafiz Ghifari Ahmad , Saiful Bachri , Tri Yuniyanto ABSTRACT This research aims to find out: 1) Lesson plan for history of Islam culture studies in MTs Negeri 2 Surakarta which implements Caliph Umar bin Khattab’s moral value, 2) The practice on history of Islam culture studies which implements Caliph Umar bin Khattab’s moral value, 3) The evaluation on history of Islam culture studies which implements Caliph Umar bin Khattab’s moral value, 4) Obstacle and solution on the implementation of Caliph Umar bin Khattab’s moral value in history of Islam culture studies to the students. This is a descriptive qualitative research which was held in MTs Negeri 2 Surakarta on the second half of 2015/2016 Class with students and history of Islam culture studies teachers as main informan. The researcher used interview, observation, and analysis of document as technique of data collection. Data triangulation technique and triangulation method were employed as data validity. Data analysis technique used in this research is interactive analysis model which interact in cycle pattern. The result shows that: 1) The lesson plan for history of Islam culture which implements Caliph Umar bin Khattab’s moral value had been written in the lesson plan according to curriculum of 2013. The moral value of Caliph Umar bin Khattab that should be followed by the students such as religious, bravery, authority, firmness, responsibility, juctice, discipline, and simplicity. 2) The practice on history of Islam culture studies which implements Caliph Umar bin Khattab’s moral value consists of pre activity, content activity, and closing activity with scientific approachment through 5M activity. 3) The learning evaluation of cognitive aspect was done by written test, spoken test, and portofolio. The learning evaluation of affective aspect was done by observation based on assestment column in the lesson plan. 4) The obstacle on the implementation of Caliph Umar bin Khattab’s moral value in history of Islam culture studies was related to the lack of source and media of learning, other factors coming from students, family, and the surroundings. There were some solutions that had been done to overcome those obstacles namely finding learning sources through internet, implementing good and attractive method, as well as establishing cooperative with school and parents.
