THE EFFECT OF THE TEACHER’S COMPETENCE, LEARNING FACILITY, AND LEARNING MOTIVATION TOWARDS THE STUDENTS’ ACHIEVEMENT IN THE SUBJECT OF EMPLOYEE AFFAIR ADMINISTRATION OF XI OFFICE ADMINISTRATION CLASS IN SMK NEGERI 1 SURAKARTA 2015/2016 ACADEMIC YEAR. This research is aimed to know about (1) direct effect of the teacher’s competence towards the students’ achievement in the subject of Employee Affair Administration of XI Office Administration class in SMK Negeri 1 Surakarta, (2) direct effect of the learning facility towards the students’ achievement in the subject of Employee Affair Administration of XI Office Administration class in SMK Negeri 1 Surakarta, (3) direct effect of students’ learning motivation towards the students’ achievement in the subject of Employee Affair Administration of XI Office Administration class in SMK Negeri 1 Surakarta, (4) indirect effect of the teacher’s competence towards the students’ achievement through the students’ learning motivation in the subject of Employee Affair Administration of XI Office Administration class in SMK Negeri 1 Surakarta, (5) indirect effect of the learning facility on the students’ achievement through the students’ learning motivation in the subject of Employee Affair Administration of XI Office Administration class in SMK Negeri 1 Surakarta. This research used quantitative research methodology. The population was all of the students of XI AP class consisted of 91 students. The sample was 74 students chosen by proportional random sampling technique. The technique of collecting the data of the teacher’s competence, learning facility, and the learning motivation by using questionnaire, meanwhile the data of the student’s achievement in the subject of Employee Affair Administration collected by using documentation. The technique of analyzing the data used path analysis by using software Lisrel for Student 8.8. Based on the research finding, it can be concluded that (1) there is a positive direct effect on the teacher’s competence towards the students’ achievement in the amount of 0,29 or 29%, the effect is significant since tvalue>ttabel (2,26 > 1,67), (2) there is a positive direct effect on the learning facility towards the students’ achievement in the amount of 0,24 or 24%, the effect is also significant since tvalue>ttabel (2,17 > 1,67), (3) there is positive direct effect on the learning motivation towards the students’ achievement in the amount of 0,26 or 26% , the effect is also significant since tvalue>ttabel (2,32> 1,67), (4) there is positive indirect effect on the teacher’s competence towards the learning achievement through the student’s motivation in the amount of 0.08 or 8%, (5) there is positive direct effect of the learning facility towards the students’ achievement through the students’ learning motivation in the amount of 0,08 or 8%.
