    Abstract

    Aqim Visalim. THE APPLICATION OF COOPERATIVE LEARNING TYPE TEAMS GAMES TOURNAMENT (TGT) TO IMPROVE THE LEARNING RESULTS OF GAIT LONG JUMP IN THE AIR AT GRADE X IPS 6 SMA NEGERI 4 SURAKARTA LESSONS YEAR 2015/2016. Thesis, Surakarta: Teacher Training and Education Faculty of March Surakarta University, May 2016. The purpose of this study is to improve learning outcomes gait long jump in the air through cooperative learning model type Teams Games Tournament (TGT) in class X IPS 4 SMAN 6 Surakarta academic year 2015/2016. This research is a classroom action research (CAR). This study was conducted in two cycles, with each cycle consisting of planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The subjects were students of class X IPS 4 SMAN 6 Surakarta academic year 2015/2016 amounted to 32 students consisting of 14 boys and 18 girls daughter. Source of data derived from the teachers, students and researchers, the data learned long jump obtained through tests of performance, the observation sheet used to collect activity data of students in the learning process long jump gait in the air with learning model Cooperative type Teams Games Tournament (TGT). Mechanical analysis using descriptive analysis techniques with percentages. These results indicate that through cooperative learning model type Teams Games Tournament (TGT) to improve learning outcomes gait long jump in the air. The study results include affective, cognitive and psychomotor of 32 students only 9 students who achieve KKM or 28.125% of the original forest has increased to 65.62% or 21 students who reach the limit due at the end of cycle 1. Further increase to 87, 50% or 28 students who reach the limit due at the end of cycle 2. thus classroom action research in class X IPS 4 SMAN 6 Surakarta in improving learning outcomes in the long jump gait air through cooperative learning model type Teams Games Tournament (TGT) this has succeeded in improving learning outcomes gait long jump in the air on the students. The conclusions of this study is through a cooperative learning model type Teams Games Tournament (TGT) to improve learning outcomes gait long jump in the air in class X IPS 4 SMAN 6 Surakarta academic year 2015/2016.
