    Abstract

    Growth in a sector of the economy that occurred in the region will have an impact not only on economic growth in the region, but also in other areas that have economic linkages with the region. The study aims to analyze the economic sectors into sector basis and analyze districts that act as centers of economic growth in the Sukoharjo regency. This study uses secondary time series data from 2010 until 2013 by the Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS), Badan Perencanaan dan Pembangunan Daerah (BAPPEDA) Sukoharjo and related institutions in this study. Analysis tools used in this study is Location Quotient (LQ), Schallogram and Centrality Index, Interaction (Gravity), and Typology Klassen. LQ analysis results in 2010-2013 known agriculture sector; shipping and communication sector; and services sector is the dominant base in most of the 12 district in Sukoharjo. Based on the analysis of the schallogram and centraly index, Sukoharjo district and Kartasura district identified that can be categorized as a center of economic growth Sukoharjo regency. Interactions analysis result (gravity) note that the Sukoharjo district as a center of growth is most closely linked to th interaction Bendosari district and Kartasura district that also be came a center of growth is most closely linked to the interaction Gatak as the surrounding area (hinterland). Based on the analysis Typology Klassen, Sukoharjo district, Grogol district, and Kartasura district the economic position can be categorized as developed and rapidly developing area.
