    Abstract

    This reserach was aimed (1) To know factors that encourage students of State Junior High School 14 Surakarta in academic year 2009/2010 consume alcoholic drink. (2) To know the difference level of alcoholic behavior before and after State Junior High School 14 Surakarta applying moral phylosophy education to its students. (3) To know moral phylosophy education effectiveness level observed from alcoholic deviation behavior level. This research used descriptive-qualitative method with strategy of a case study reserach. Sources of data in this reserach were informant, happening and document. The sampling technique was purposive sampling. The technique of collecting data were by interview, observation and document analysis. Data validity was gained by data trianggulation. The data analysis used interactive analysis i.e data collection, data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusion. The research procedure used steps as follow: phase of preparation, phase of collecting data, phase of analyzing data and phase of arranging report. Based on the analysis, some conclusion can be drawn as follow (1) Factors that encourage students to consume alcoholic drink can be clasified into two: First, intrinsik factors (from the inside of the students) covering: to get pleasure and satisfaction, to grew self confidence, to release frustation and to fulfil high couriousity . Second, ekstrinsik factors (from the outside of the students) covering: freely access to alcoholic drink, factor from family, environment and school. (2) The difference level of alcoholic behavior before State Junior High School 14 Surakarta applying moral phylosophy education was lower with 0,44 %. While after the school has applied moral phylosophy education was higher with 4,8 %. (3) According to the effectiveness indicator, moral phylosophy education in State Junior High School 14 Surakarta can be said ineffective. It can be seen from input, process and output indicator which were inappropriate with the expectation.
