    Abstract

    The four pillars of education in the learning of physics listed in the curriculum in 2006 need to be considered, but the curriculum is not explained how its formulation. Limitations of laboratory facilities is also an obstacle in supporting the learning of Physics. This research aims to develop a learning device (MFI, SAP and Book Lecturer) and to determine the habituation profile of scientific work with learning device physics-based four pillars of education through outdoor activities (outdoorinquiry) to increase scientific work habits in IKIP PGRI Pontianak. This research is Research and Development. The development model that used is 4-D model. The stage of 4-D model are define, design, develop, and disseminate. But, for this research only until develop stage because of time limitations. Testing the effectiveness of the learning modules in physics by completeness students’s cognitive value. Furthermore, to determine the increase of students’s scientific working habits is by compare students’s scientific working habits before using the module and students after using the module. Collecting data in this research using a questionnaire, validation sheets, observation sheets, and test questions. Hypothesis testing using t test or a different test average. The results showed that the physics instruction instrument based four education pillars effective in learning physics. This is evident from completeness students’s cognitive value. There’s 61,76% of all student can reach KKM. Student science process skills (learning to do) increased in the implementation of MFI 01, MFI 02, and MFI 03 with a gain of 0.29 and 0.38. Understanding the concept of students (learning to know) increased in the implementation of MFI 01, MFI 02 with a gain of 0.10 but decreased in the implementation of the 03 MFIs with a gain - 0.09. Ability to work groups of students (learning to live together) increases with a gain of 0.14 and 0.50. Habituation scientific work (learning to be) increases with a gain of 0.18 and 0.23. The conclusion from this study that the development of devices can be done through a trial-rise and the result of applying the device can show the tendency to self habituation scientific work of students began to grow. Response to student attitudes towards the education in general, good and excellent.
