    Abstract

    The purpose of this research is to determine effect of screen printing type on TiO2 layers as working electrode of Dye Sensitized Solar Cell (DSSC). Type of TiO2 materials using a transparent and non transparent paste. Deposisition of TiO2 layers using by screen printing method. The screen has various types as follows : T-49, T-55 and T-61. After the deposition of TiO2 layers then sintering at a temperature of 500oC. The thickness measurenment of TiO2 coating obtained from cross-sectional images by Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM). Optical properties of absorbance using UV-Vis Spectrophotometer. The results of TiO2 thin films with using a screen printing T-49 have a thickness (3.2 ± 0.3) µm and (54 ± 4) µm for transparent and non transparent paste. The absorption of TiO2 thin film at wavelengths of 315 nm have absorbance are 1.7 and 2.99 for transparent and non transparent paste. The results of current-voltage (I-V) measurenment of DSSC that TiO2 thin film transparent and non transparent paste have efficiency 1.0 x 10-1 % and 4.7 x 10-1 %.
