    Abstract

    JULEHA RATNA SARI, D0311037. THE ORGANIC FARMING MANAGEMENT SYSTEM IN CEPOKOSAWIT VILLAGE, SAWIT SUB-DISTRICT BOYOLALI REGENCY. Thesis. Sociology. Faculty of Social Science and Politics. Sebelas Maret University. Surakarta. 2015. The purpose of this research is to evaluate The Organic Farming Management System in Cepokosawit Village, Sawit Sub-district, Boyolali Regency by using AGIL theory of Talcott Parsons. This research used descriptive qualitative method. The evaluation of this reseach was On-going evaluationwith CIPP evaluation model. The primary data were taken from APOB officers and farmers as informants. The secondary data were taken from organic farming supporting documents. The data were taken by using purposive sampling technique. The data collection techniques were observation, interview, and documentation. The data were validated by using Source of Triangulation Technique and the data were analyzed by using interactive model. The result of the research shows that there were changes before and after the organic rice farming program done by Organic Farmers Association (APOB), farmers became more independent,officers could grow confident feeling in facing problems correctly and farmers would always try in developing organic cultivation. Based on CIPP analysis shew that farming management system is still in progress to become organic. Keywords : Organic Farming, Evaluation, Management
