    Abstract

ABSTRACK Rosadana Nurir Rahmani, Sobriyah dan Agus Hari Wahyudi, 2015. The Transformation of Daily Rainfall to Hourly Rainfall Used Mononobe Method and Rainfall Discharge Formulation (Case Study in Tirtomoyo Watershed). Thesis. Departement of Civil Engineering. Engineering Faculty. Sebelas Maret University. Surakarta. Rational methods used to estimate flood discharge by using the intensity of the rain. One method to calculate the intensity of rainfall is a Mononobe method. The formula uses a constant (m). Constant value (m) Mononobe in each of the different research areas. Calculation of flood discharge with Rational method requires a flow coefficient (C). Rated flow coefficient (C) can be estimated based rainfall discharge formulation into streams if a partner hourly rainfall data and flow hydrograph. The purpose of this study were (1) Getting the calibration constants (m) Mononobe to convert daily rainfall to rain hourly, (2) Getting the calibration coefficient C at rainfall discharge formulation into streams using the data ARR, (3) Getting the calibration constants (m) Mononobe on rainfall discharge formulation into streams using Mononobe rainfall intensity. The method used is descriptive quantitative. Determination of constant value (m) Mononobe done by changing the daily rain into rain hourly using Mononobe method and ABM. The calculation is performed by varying the value of a constant (m) Mononobe. Furthermore, the calibration coefficient (C) and constant (m) Mononobe on rainfall discharge formulation into streams. The error rate was set at 10-20 % (Sofyan, 1995). Hydrograph flow compared with the results calculated flow hydrograph observations. If the comparison value is not the same approach, the calculation is repeated by way try to change the value of the coefficient C and a constant (m) Mononobe until the results are approximately equal. Based on the results of calibration constants (m) Mononobe to convert daily rainfall to rain hourly shows the difference in volume, peak flow, and a very large peak time is between 21.54% to 13876.95%. For the results of calibration coefficients C in rainfall discharge formulation into streams of data using ARR, differences in the difference volume, peak flow, and the peak time is between 24.67% to 77.81%. And calibration constants (m) Mononobe on rainfall discharge formulation into streams using rainfall intensity difference Mononobe shows the difference volume, peak flow, and a very large peak time is between 33.33% to 97.69%. From the calculation above, can not be accepted because, according to Sofyan et al. (1995) stipulates that the flood hydrograph error between measured and accounted for 10-20% is acceptable. Keywords: transformation, Mononobe methods, rainfall discharge formulation.
