    Abstract

    ABSTRACT Inge Banowati. K2311006. EXPERIMENT OF BLENDED LEARNING AND COOPERATIVE TYPE TEAM ASSISTED INDIVIDUALIZATION (TAI) ON THE SUB THEME OF ACID RAIN BASED ON STUDENT’S SCIENCE COMMUNICATION OF CLASS VII SMPN 15 SURAKARTA. Thesis, Surakarta: Teacher Training and Education Faculty, Sebelas Maret University, November, 2015. The purpose of this research was to find out the difference impact between blended learning model and type cooperative of Team Assisted Individualization (TAI) toward cognitive ability of surakarta state junior high school no. 15 student grade VII-Science Program, to find out the difference impact between scientific communication of high,medium,and low categories toward cognitive ability of surakarta state junior high school no. 15 student grade VII-Science Program, to find out the interaction learning model through blended learning and type cooperative of Team Assisted Individualization (TAI) toward cognitive ability of surakarta state junior high school no. 15 student grade VII-Science Program . Type of this research was experimental research with 2x3 factorial design. Factor A was learning model and factor B was scientific communication of student. The population was seventh grade students of SMPN 15 Surakarta. Sampling was done by cluster random sampling technique with research sample were class VII-A and VII-C.The data collected by test and observation. Data analized by two ways ANOVA and a further test ANOVA. Based on the result of data analysis, it can be concluded: (1) there was the difference impact between blended learning model and type cooperative of Team Assisted Individualization (TAI) toward cognitive skill of surakarta state junior high school no. 15 student grade VII-Science Program, because Fa = 12, 97 > F0,05;1;54 = 4,02. (2) there was the difference impact between scientific communication of high, medium, and low categories toward cognitive ability of surakarta state junior high school no. 15 student grade VII-Science Program, because Fb = 4,58 > F0,05;2;54 = 3,17. Communication students high category provide a better influence than student scientific communication medium category, because F1-2 = 12.10 > 2F table = 6.34. Scientific communication students high category provides a better effect than scientific communication students lower category, because F1-3= 17.38 > 2F table = 6.34. Scientific communication students in medium category were almost had the same effect with scientific communication students in lower category because F2-3 = 2,79 < 2F table = 6.34 (3) there was no the interaction in learning model through blended learning and type cooperative of Team Assisted Individualization (TAI) toward cognitive ability of surakarta state junior high school no. 15 student grade VII-Science Program, because Fab = 2,54 < F0,05;2;54 = 3,17.
