    Abstract

    Organic solar cells have been made using the poly (3-hexylthiophene) (P3HT) and (6,6) phenyl C61 butyric acid methyl ester (PCBM) materials. P3HT materials act as donor and PCBM materials act as acceptor. Variation of weigh concentration are 1 mg/mL, 2 mg/mL, 8 mg/mL and 16 mg/mL with ratio of P3HT and PCBM is 5:1. P3HT:PCBM mixed using chlorobenzena solvent with blending method. Deposition of active layer of P3HT:PCBM used spin coating with rotary speed is 2500 rpm for 10 seconds. The absorbance test used UV-Visible Spectrometer Lambda 25 and the I-V characteristic test used Keithley 2602. The value of gap energy with UV-Vis curve using Tauc method is 1.92 eV. I-V characterization efficiency at 1 mg/mL is 0.003x10-1%, weight conceteration of 2 mg/mL is 0.040 x 10-1% and weight conceteration of 8 mg/mL is 0.713 x 10-1%. The heighest of efficiency at weight conceteration of 16 mg/mL is 0.942 x 10-1%.
