    Abstract

    Sutiah. S8II402050. Use of the Interactive CD-Assisted Contextual Teaching and Learning Model to Improve the Learning Motivation and Achievement in Natural Science of the Students of Primary School 1 of Purworejo, Bae, Kudus in Semester 2 of Academic Year 2014/2015. Thesis: Advisor: Prof. Dr. H. Soetarno Joyoatmojo, M.Pd. Co-advisor: Dr. Suharno, M.Pd. The Graduate Program in Educational technology, Sebelas Maret Universîty, Surakarta, 2015. The objectives of this research are to analyze the use of the interactive CD-assisted Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) model and to improve the learning motivation and achievement in Natural Science of the students in Grade V of Primary School 1 of Purworejo, Bae, Kudus. This research used the classroom action research with three cycles. Each cycle consisted of four phases, namely: planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The samples of research consisted of 20 students, 11 males and 9 females of the aforementioned school. They were taken by using the total sample technique. The data of research were collected through test, observation, and questionnaire. They were analyzed by using the descriptive interactive model of analysis The result of research shows that the use of the interactive CD-assisted CTL model can improve the students’ learning motivation and achievement in Natural Science. Following the treatment, the percentages of the learning motivation are 54.17% in Cycle I, 72.25% in Cycle II, and 82.04% in Cycle III respectively. In addition, the percentages of the learning achievement of the students who fulfill the minimum learning completeness criterion of 75 are 45% in Cycle I, 73.5% in Cycle II, and 82% in Cycle III respectively.
