    Abstract

    Saraswati, 2009. EPANECHNIKOV KERNEL DENSITY ESTIMATION OF BOOTSTRAP RESAMPLE’S MEAN IN DETERMINING THE OPTIMUM HARVEST TIME OF RAMI(Boehmeria nivea L. Gaudich). Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Sebelas Maret University. Requirement of cotton for textile industry in large parts still imported from foreign. One of the effort for reducing dependency of the cotton is usagenatural fiber which is camefrom rami (Boehmeria niveaL. Gaudich) which has characteristic like a cotton and it can be used for textile materials. For increasing the rami’s productivity, Giberelin hormone and watering capacity are given to stimulate rami’s growth. In this research, Giberelin hormone (GA3) with 175 ppm and 200 ppm concentration, and watering capacity 300 ml, 450 ml and 600 ml are used as the treatments. The aims of this research are to determine the optimum harvest time of rami and to determine the treatment that optimize rami’s growth. The optimum harvest time of rami is determined by using the plots of Epanechnikov kernel density estimation and the greatest bootstrap resample’s means. While the treatment that optimize rami’s growth is determined by using confidence interval of bootstrap percentile, coverage probability and confidence interval of bootstrap percentile’s range. The resultof this research isthe optimum harvest time oframi with Giberelin (GA3) and watering capacity as the treatments is 5 weeks. While the treatment that optimize rami’s growth is Giberelin hormone with 200ppm concentration and watering capacity 600ml.
