    Abstract

    The purpose of this research is to find out: (1) The effect of TGT learning with demonstration method to the student’s achievement in the colloidal system subject matter, (2) the effect of high, medium, and low creativity toward to the student’s achievement in the colloidal system subject matter, (3) the interaction between TGT learning with demonstration method and creativity toward to the student’s achievement in the colloid system subject matter. This research was used an experiment method with 2x3 factorial design. The population was the whole of class XI SMA Negeri Sumpiuh on the academic year of 2011/2012. Samples were taken with Cluster Random Sampling technique of 2 classes. TGT with demonstration method was applied to experiment classroom and conventional method was applied to control classroom. Data were collected using tests and non-test (questionnaire) technique. Technical tests for cognitive achievement, whereas non-test technique (questionnaire) for creativity. Data were analyzed using Variance analysis of two paths with the same cells. Based on the result of research, it can be concluded that: (1) there was a different effect using TGT learning with demonstration toward to the student’s achievement in the colloidal system subject matter (sig = 0,028 ), it indicated that TGT with demonstration was more effective than lecture method. (2) There was a difference effect of high, medium, and low creativity toward to the student’s achievement ( sig = 0,011 ), students with high creativity get higher average achievement than students with medium and low creativity. (3) There was no interaction between TGT with demonstration method and creativity toward to the student’s achievement ( sig = 0,475 ).
