    Abstract

    The objectives of the research are to (1) describe the characteristics of SAVI based physics module, (2) measure the feasibility of SAVI based physics module of heat and heat transfer, (3) measure the increase of students’ learning creativity due to the used of SAVI based physics module topic of heat and heat transfer. Research method is using method Research and Development (R&D). The research models and development are using procedural models with the procedure of Borg and Gall, consists of : (1) data collecting for needs analysis, (2) planning, (3) designing module draft, (4) writing module draft, (5) validation of module, (6) revising,(7) first try out and revising, (8) basic try out and revising, and (9) disseminating. This module is SAVI based physics module, which steps are preparation, instruction, practicing, and result presenting. The feasibility of SAVI based physics module is evaluated base on feasibility of content, media, and language then this module is tried out two times. The first, try out to six students. After revising, it is tried out to grade XB. The data collecting using document study, questionnaire, validation form, interview, and observation. Quantitative data analysis technique is conducted by count every aspect score. The total score is categorized into five criteria by Azwar. The qualitative data analysis technique is used Miles and Huberman analysis models. The result is (1) the characteristic of SAVI based physics module is oriented student center approach. SAVI based physics module by the topic heat and heat transfer is developed using SAVI learning steps, involved (a) preparation can be done by way of students observe and see phenomena presented in the module. Then it will appear problem relate to the material will be learned, (b) instruction can be done base on the tools, material, and task procedure, (c) practicing can be done with students do data analysis according to the variable measured, and (d) result presenting can be done with making conclusion based on data analysis, then student present their work result in front of class, (2) SAVI based physics module by the topic heat and heat transfer is proper to use as learning material based to basic try out, achieve 77% students stated that the module is very good based legibility of the module from aspect content, media, and language, (3) students learning creativity to grade of X-B after using SAVI based physics module by the topic heat and heat transfer using questionnaire and observation can increase 0.40 and 0.52. Base on the result of the research indicate SAVI based physics module by the topic heat and heat transfer can increase students’ learning creativity with n-gain criteria.
