    Abstract

    Kasmonah. S811402039. The Enhancement of Learning Outcomes in Science Subject from Fourth Grade Students of Elementary School 3 Bacin Bae Kudus Through CTL Model. Thesis. Advisor : Dr. Suharno, M.Pd. Co-Advisor : Dr Djono, M.Pd. The Graduate Program Program in Educational Technology Postgraduate Program, University of Sebelas Maret Surakarta The purpose of this study was to determine (1) Implementation of science subject teaching of fourth grade students Through CTL Model approach can increase the Activite to learn.: (2) Through CTL Model approach can increase student achievement of learning outcomes for fourth grade students of Elementary School 3 Bacin Bae Kudus. This study is a Classroom Action Research with qualitative descriptive research strategy. Methods of data collection are using in-depth interviews, participant observation, and documentation. Analysis of the data is using interactive model. The results showed that (1) the active participation of students in the study showed an increasing. CTL learning model trains students to discuss, give opinions and train activity students to work. Student activity observed during the learning process, (2) The results demonstrate the implementation of a class action learning model Contextual Teaching and Learning can improve the activity and learning achievement fourth grade students of Elementary School 3 Bacin Bae Kudus, basic competence conclude the results of experiments that force (push and pull) can alter the motion of an object, increased significantly in each cycle. KKM specified in Elementary School 3 Bacin Bae Kudus, especially in science subjects is 70, (3) Before to the application of learning models Contextual Teaching and Learning showed classical achievement of less than 85% so that the researchers plan to conduct action research to improve the condition. From the results of the first cycle, second cycle and third cycle increased learning achievement and student activities. In addition to increased student achievement, an increase also occurred in the teacher's ability to manage learning. Keywords: Activity, Study Prestation , Learning Model CTL, Science Subject
