    Abstract

    The focus of this thesis is about linkages between job resources with work engagement, between job resources and work engagement with moderation of job demand, and linkages between work engagement with job performance. This study take the model linkages the variable which is based on the Model of Work Engagement of Bakker & Demerouti, (2011) The population of this study are employees of PT Kusumaputra Santosa, with 213 samples. Quantitative research methods using regression statistical test to determine the direct linkages and linkages through moderation. Results of this research is job resources provide a positive influence on work engagement, both directly, but moderation job demand was not proven a positive effect, although statistically significant results but moderation job demand can negatively affect the relations job resources and work engagement. And then work engagement had a positive influence on job performance. The results can be explain that the employees involved in the work they are fully connected to their role as workers. They are full of energy, which is dedicated to their work, and immersed in their work activities. This study provides an overview of the concept of work engagement. This study indicates that job resources is a major predictor of work engagement . Workers involved more open to new information, more productive, and more willing to extra work. Moreover, workers engaged proactively change their work environment in order to remain involved. The study's findings could be used to develop work engagement and job performance in the workplace today
