      Abstract

      GEMBONG WIJANG. 2015. “Landslide Sensor System and Early Warning Prototype”. The landslide disaster is a number one disaster in Indonesia. It happened really often in Indonesia. This disaster causing a lot of damage and lost for people. Death and material lost is the biggest number of casualties. The factor of nature phenomenon like a landslide, can be captured digitally using electronics instrument. In the making process of this instrument, will be developed a system that can monitor land movement and humidity level. This system can be applied to monitor the land movement level and the land humidity level. Developed system works by serial digital. It can connect to a computer for many purposes. The land movement sensor uses a potentiometer that converts distance to a voltage. Humidity sensor uses SSR-026 humidity sensor. This system uses a 10 bit Analog to Digital Converter (ADC) from Atmega8535 Microcontroller. The value of movement and humidity sensor sent digitally in a multi-bit serial data through USB serial (com) protocol. Received data reads by computer from COM11 through arduino board and a python program. From research, we received that system can be used to measures land movement and humidity, and also give an early warning. System has 1 mm resolution’s specification with measurement range about 30cm. From the regresion value of sensor’s output, we can get an math formula.
