This research aims to determine: (1) learning method ceramics in SMK N 1 Yogyakarta, (2) how educators evaluate learning outcomes of students in SMK N 01 Kalasan Yogyakarta, (3) enabling and inhibiting factors on educators and learners in learning ceramics on SMK N 01 Kalasan Yogyakarta. This research is qualitative descriptive study. Research conducted at SMK Negeri 1 Kalasan Yogyakarta. The selected research subjects are students of class X and XII which consists of each class of 31 students and 30 students. The sampling technique is used purposive sampling and snowball sampling. Data collection techniques are used observation, test, and interview. Validities data is done by triangulation of data, which is by comparing the result of observation of data activity, the data answer test questions, and data from interviews with some students. Data analysis was performed through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. Based on the data analysis and discussion in this research, it can be concluded: study ceramics in terms of learning methods, evaluation, as well as factors inhibiting and supporters are: (1) a method of learning in SMK N 01 Kalasan been running effectively and efficiently. The learning method is used a method inkri based learning and problem solving, the use of methods adapted to the class and the material presented. Method often used in class X is a lecture, question and answer method, method demonstrations, experimental method, the method group, the method of discussion, the method of appreciation, resistasi method. The method is often used in class XII was a lecture, question and answer method, the method of demonstration, observation method between educators and learners, resistasi methods and methods of appreciation, (2) all learning domains of cognitive, affective and psychomotor evaluated either by means which is objectively based on the guidelines, (3) supporting factors are: teachers are competent in their fields, completeness of facilities and infrastructure in the department of ceramics, advantageous location is in Yogyakarta as a city of art and culture. Inhibiting factors are: using foreign language between educators from South Korea and learners Indonesia, because the cost of burning the combustion only done once a year, so that too much speculation on the next process.
