    Abstract

    Hanafi Akhmad Uswah, 2015. “Analysis of Bond Strength Notched Ori Bamboo Reinforcement Type “U” with Distance 100 cm to Steel Reinforcement”. Skripsi, Civil Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Sebelas Maret University, Surakarta. Using of reinforced concrete in building will increase as rapid as growth population. It will increase demand of steel reinforcement as main component and sparks price increases to be expensive and rare. Iron are as a raw manufacture material of steel reinforced is a unrenewable resource. Therefore, needs new alternative changer of steel reinforcement in concrete. One of the requirements in reinforced concrete structures is bonding between reinforcement and concrete so if the concrete structure was loaded it will not slippage between reinforcement and concrete. Because of that it is necessary to research the bond strength of notched ori bamboo reinforcement type “u” with distance 10 cm in normal concrete. The method in this study is an experimental laboratory. Test specimen is cylinder concrete which its diameter and high was 15 cm and 30 cm. in the middle of test specimen was buried a reinforcement of notched ori bamboo type “u” distance 100 cm with dimension 10 x 5 mm and 25 cm of depth. The reinforcements was plain steel with 8 mm as comparison. This test is performed in the Machine Laboratory, Faculty of Engineering of Sebelas Maret University (UNS), on the concentrate age of 28 days using Universal Testing Machine (UTM). Based on the analysis and test result, the highest average bond strength of notched ori bamboo reinforcement type “u” with distance 10 cm is 0,081 MPa while the average bond plain steel reinforcement Ø 8 mm was 0,548 MPa. The conclusions is the highest value of the average bond strength of notched ori bamboo reinforcement type “u” with distance 10 cm compared with value of average plain steel reinforcement Ø 8 mm is 0,148 or 14,8 %.
