    Abstract

    ABSTRACT Erwin Santosa. DISTRIBUTION ANALYSYS OF INFILTRATION WELL IN SURAKARTA YEAR 2013. Thesis, Surakarta: Teaching and Education Science Faculty of Sebelas Maret University, July 2013, The purpose of this study : (1) Knowing the shallow groundwater flow patterns in Surakarta (2) Knowing the debit runoff in Surakarta (3) Knowing the direction of the number and distribution analysis of infiltration wells in Surakarta This study used descriptive equalitative method carried outby the method ofs patial approach. The unit analysisis a unit of land. In this study used two types of land units. Land units shallow ground water derived from oevrlay of slope map between the Geological Map, the result is 6 land units. Land units runof fobtained from overlay of Soil Map, Land Use Map, and Map Slope, the result is 18 unit of land. Sampling technique shallow groundwater land units using systematic random sampling, where as the runoff land units use the census method. Data was collected through observation and documentation. Data analysis techniques to determine the pattern of shallow groundwater flow is three-point problem. Data analysis technique to determine the flow of the surface is to look for surface flow(Q). Distribution of infiltration wells using the mean value of Q divided by the volume of infiltration wells. Distribution location of infiltration wells are based on the groundwater shallow face height, proximity to rivers and land use. The results of this study were: (1) the city of Surakarta has shallow groundwater flow pattern in the form ofthe basin and ridge, which is influenced by population density and aquifer conditions. Population density affects the consumption of the population of the ground water, aquifer conditions affecting the thickness of the permeable layer and layer inpermeable. There is a pattern of ground water flow toward the river due to the type of effluent stream having a bottom surface of the river is lower than the face of shallow groundwater. (2) Surakarta has a value of surface flow at 1179.8m3/second with – average 65.5 m3/second in 18 unit of land. The amount of surface flow is influenced by land cover, slope, and drainage of the area. (3) Referral number of infiltration wells in Surakarta were 483 infiltration wells. Villages with the most referrals is the number of infiltration wells Pajang Village with 35 infiltration wells. while the direction of the village with the smallest amount of infiltration wells are Kauman Village. Referral sare based on the distribution of infiltration wells face height factor shallow groundwater, proximity to the river, as well asland use. Keyword : groundwater, runoff, infiltration well
