    Abstract

    This research aims at to analyze The Comprehension Of Ajibarang State Senior High School Students about The Local Wisdom Of Islam Aboge. This researtch uses the theory of Interactionalism Symbolic, Herbert Mead (A Case Study Of Ajibarang State Senior High School, in Banyumas Regency, Central Java). The School itself is a school that has conducted character building through the development of curriculum considering local wisdom base. Islam Aboge is one of local widoms that exists in Banyumas Regency. The research is a qualitative research with a strategy of study cases. The sources of this research are information, archieves, and document. The Sampling method that is used in this research is snowball sampling. A research that is done in the location of the research to determine the informants The informants will their give reference to the persons who will be the next informants. It runs continuously until we get an information that leads to the key informant. From whom we get comprehension that it is needed by this research. The informants of this research are 17 persons, consisting of 9 informants interviewied, those are head master, the vise of curriculum, Banyumas Language teacher, religion teacher, the figure of NU and Muhammadiyah, and 2 students. The 8 informants of Focus Group Discussion (FGD) consist of 4 male students and 4 female students. The methods of collecting data in this research are interview and observation. The triangulation method of the data is taken from the local wisdom of Islam Aboge, character values of Islam Aboge and character education in order to get data about the comprehension of the students about the local wisdom of Islam Aboge in character education. The result of this research shows 4 points. First, character education has a purpose of leading the students to have character values. Secondly, the comprehesion of students about local wisdom of Islam Aboge is in from of respecting ancetors, patience, harmony and submisson. Thirdly, effort to conserve the local wisdom of Islam Aboge in character education through the development of the curriculum is done by inserting the values of character education by giving meaning and recontruction of glanous values of local culture so it is called curriculum based on local culture. Fourthly, the local wisdom of Islam Aboge influences the students character, those are rila, nerima, sabar, temenan and budi luhur. Key words : Local Wisdom, Islam Aboge, Character Education.
