    Abstract

    PBB P2 (Urban Rural Land and Building Tax) is one of the local tax as own-sources revenue of Karanganyar District. The purposes of this study are (1) to determine how the data updating activities of the PBB-P2, (2) to determine the actual revenues after the data updating activities of PBB-P2, (3) and to investigate the problems that arise in maximizing data updating activities of the PBB-P2, and appropriate solutions to overcome problems were related to the data updating activity of the PBB-P2. The data collection techniques were used interviews with several staff in DPPKAD and documentation as supporting data to complement and enhance the research results, and discussion techniques by using descriptive method. The study conclusion are that in conducting the data updating were used two ways: by means of active and passive, and after doing data updating activity the PBB realized increased by Rp 22,685,549,812 in 2013 to Rp 24,126,547,319 in 2014 and the constraints that occur is the lack of budget in data updating and less maximum of Village Head in conducting data updating. Based on the study results, the authors give advice to DPPKAD Karanganyar to maximize the data updating activity by conducting dissemination to the Village Chief in each village and provide a budget for data updating activities.
